On behalf of our school community, I extend a warm welcome to your family as your child / children commence or continue their education at Croxton School. Croxton School is an exciting place of learning for students from Preps to Senior Secondary Certificate (Year 12) who have specific learning needs associated with an intellectual disability.

Our school prides itself on providing a nurturing environment in which individual students are valued and encouraged to develop the highest standards in personal achievements within a learning environment, which is:

  • Secure
  • Safe
  • Challenging
  • Success oriented

We aim for all our students to be active learners who are supported by educational programs designed to meet their individual learning needs. Our team of teachers, therapists, and support staff works in partnership with parents to set individual learning goals for students and plan the delivery of engaging, challenging, and purposeful educational programs.

Parent and family involvement is valued, and we believe high levels of parental support enhance the community spirit existing within the school.

This booklet outlines the school’s curriculum provision, our various programs on offer, organisational matters, and the role of the School Council. I trust your association with our school is a happy and valued one for us all. I look forward to our association.
